White Water Consumption Limits for Children

So far we know that may need to drink water that is recommended for all persons is 8 glasses a day. In fact, it is recommended to drink for healthy adults. As for the children, much less.

As mentioned Nutritionist Hydration is also Chairman of the Indonesian Working Group (IHWG), Dr. dr. Saptawati Bardosono M, Sc that appropriate nutritional adequacy rate (RDI) children were adjusted for age and sex.

"For children aged 5-9 years, requiring about 1200-1600 ml of fluid per day, or about 6 cups of water," he said.


Total water consumption, said Saptawati, excluding other sugary drinks. Thus, it is important to introduce water since early childhood.

"Get used to the boy drinking water. If the child is introduced sweet since childhood, he can not like water because fresh," he said, as quoted on Thursday (26/06/2014).

Saptawati suggest, to make a child love to drink water, she advises parents to have the funny glasses that kids love.
