Tips to Reduce Your Appetite After Sports

After exercise or physical activity, typically people will feel hungry. But the food eaten after exercise should not even add to the burden of calories. Because of that, people usually get around to eating less after exercise.

But it must be admitted, hunger arising after exercise can not always be satisfied with eating less. The good news, a new study has found a way so that you can eat less after exercise, which makes sports more fun!

In an experiment, 56 adults were asked to walk the 2.25 miles. Researchers told half the participants were walking for exercise, while the other half considered it is recreation. After the walk, participants were given a chocolate pudding. It turned out that participants who assume that just walking they do is exercise, eat 35 percent more than those who take it as a leisure stroll.

In another experiment, 46 adults given a snack after the walk. Those who think these activities are sports eat 124 percent more calories than sugar than those who consider it as a recreation.

Carolina Werle study author, professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France said, assessing the walking is done as a sport does not make people feel happier and more tired.

The study, published in the journal Marketing Letters were also found, most people who join weight loss programs usually will actually gain weight after overeating after exercise.

According to study author Brian Wansink other, director of the Cornell Food and Brand Lab, the key to eating less after the exercise is to make the sport more enjoyable activity.

"Do what you love to make the sport more enjoyable, such as play music, watch videos, or even as simple as grateful to be able to exercise. Whatever makes you that while exercise will make you eat less," said Wansink.
